To say that I love my job is an understatement! I am incredibly lucky to be able to live in this beautiful place and work with amazing couples on their wedding day. ​I began studying photography in High School in Richmond, VA. I started taking family portraits professionally 14 years ago and I have now been photographing weddings full time for 13 years. Over the years I have been fortunate enough to photograph hundreds of weddings at nearly every venue here on the Outer Banks. 

 

Every wedding has its unique set of challenges and I love capturing every detail and finding the right combinations of angles and lighting. I would describe my style as laid back and very detail oriented. I strive to capture those in between moments that will hopefully catch you off guard when you see your final collection of images. My favorite images are usually the candid ones and I do my best to mix those in along with the classic wedding shots. All of our online galleries contain the high resolution images where you and your guests can enjoy unlimited, free downloads! I have always believed that the images belong to the subjects and for that reason I make it as easy as possible to access them.
